Collection of Oh My God in its course of run

Oh My God is rock steady on Wednesday. It collected around 3.50 crore nett on that day. Despite the previous day was a holiday the collections did not drop by much & are only slightly lower than its first day.

The total collection of the film till Wednesday stands at 32.50 crore nett & the first week will likely to finish just more than 35 crore nett. And this a very good recovery from an average first day which was only 4 crore nett.

Oh My God is doing excellent business in areas like Mumbai, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh & Central India & the best collections have come from Gujarat.  The eastern India & southern India have recorded lower collections but are steady throughout the week.  Eastern Punjab should have been a strong performer but collections are low there since the film has not released in most of the areas of the circuit.

Two new films are releasing this Friday English Vinglish & Kismat Love Paisa Dilli. But Oh My God will also behave like a new film & will give a tough competition to them making the battle between three contenders.

Oh My Got has sustained very well over the weekdays & it is certain that the occupancy level of Oh My God will be higher than the other two films. But collection of the film will depend on how much screen space it gets at the theatres.

The two new films English Vinglish & Kismat Love Paisa Dilli will not get a very good opening & will depend on word of mouth of the audience. As a result there are very good chances that Oh My God becomes no 1 on this Friday.

In Kanpur Oh My God showed rock steady collections throughout the week. The Thursday collections are just 15% lower than the first day collection at Kanpur. Now let us see the day by day first week collections of Oh My God at Kanpur.

Now Oh My God is on its eighth day. Two of the new releases English Vinglish & Kismat Love Paisa Dilli release on Friday. Oh My God is still ahead of the two new releases.  The publicity of the two new films were good but still the films fail to get good initials. English Vinglish showed better collection at multiplexes & Kismat Love Paisa Dilli opened better at single screens.

Oh My God should have better collections than the new releases this Friday. The reports of English Vinglish are good and is set to see a good jump in the evening shows but the reports of Kismat Love Paisa Dilli are poor & the business of this film is likely to be a wash out.

Oh My God still has better chances to top the other two releases this weekend until & unless English Vinglish shows a huge jump on Saturday & Sunday as the reports are good. Oh My God will most likely hit the 60 crore nett mark in its lifetime run.

Oh My God had a super eighth day as collections were similar to that of Thursday even some multiplexes showed better collections than Thursday. Oh My God collected 3.75 – 4 crore nett on second Friday which is just 30 % lower than its first Friday.

The film will most probably stand among those films whose drops are less than 50% from one week to other. Housefull 2 is another film which showed less than 50 % drop from its earlier week. Enghlish Vinglish with better report has collected a poor 2.25 crore nett on Friday & the collection of Kismat Love Dilli Paisa is very low. So Oh My God has easily beaten English Vinglish & Kismat Love Paisa Dilli on this Friday.

The film has not released in many centers in East Punjab as a result it suffered a loss of nearly 1 crore.
