Akshay gearing up for next Eid release Khiladi 786

According to the latest update Akshay Kumar starrer Naam Hai Boss will be released on Eid 2013. We all know the importance of holidays especially big holidays like Eid, Christmas, Independence day, Republic day etc in the bollywood film industry. Salman Khan's movie Ek Tha Tiger which has broken all previous records was also released on Eid 2012.

 And now all filmakers are eyeing this release date. According to the latest update Akshay Kumar has grabbed this date for one of his next release Naam Hai Boss. Releasing on Eid 2013 this movie will surely set the Box-office ringing & also break quite a few no. of records.

Pakistan's actor Imran Abbas was initially signed for Akshay Kumar's next Naam Hai Boss. This movie is the remake of malayalam blockbuster movie Pokkiri Raja which released in 2010. Imran should have played Prithviraj's role alongwith  Akshay in the lead. The movie will be directed by "Blue" director Anthony D'souza.

Apparently producer Ashwin Varde has signed a contract with Imran according to which he cannot sign any other movie during this period. But Imran unknowingly auditioned for another movie which has made the producer angry. As a result Imran was opted out of the project. Now Ayushman Khurana or Arjun Kapoor will be selected for the role. But it should be done fast as Akshay will start shooting immediately after he completes the shooting of OATIM 2. Naam Hai Boss is set to release on Eid 2013. 

Akshay Kumar the Real Khiladi of bollywood has found a new success mantra in double roles. Few days back we have seen him playing double role in the movie Rowdy Rathode which later on became a huge Blockbuster. He is again repeating this mantra in his new movie Khiladi 786. The film is produced by both himself along with Himesh Reshamiya.

Earlier the director of the movie Ashish R Mohan decided to select another top grade actor. But to sign another actor & to get dates for the movie it would be very difficult. So finally they decided to take Akshay for the other role also. The look has been kept under wrap. He has already shot for the other role before going to Muscat for the shooting of another movie.

SRK gears up for "Jab Tak Hai Jaan" & "Chennai Express"

After so many speculations & keeping the title under wrap for so long time ultimately Yash Chopra has revealed the title of the SRK starrer as "Jab Tak Hai Jaan". The movie is schedule to release on 13 Nov 2012 during Deewali. The movie stars Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif & Anushka Sharma. The music has been composed by A R Rahman & the lyrics given by Gulzar. Jab Tak Hai Jaan is a new upcoming romantic movie of Bollywood. The director of this movie is Yash Chopra & the producer is Aditya Chopra. The name of the production house is Yash Raj Films. This is the first film for the pair Shah Rukh Khan & Katrina Kaif & the second film for the combo Shah Rukh Khan & Anushka Sharma. This is the fourth film of Yash Chopra with SRK in the main lead, his last was Veer Zaara in 2004.

The story is the love triangle between these three central characters. The music director of this movie is A R Rahman who is working with Yash Chopra for the first time in his career. SRK plays the character of Samar, Katrina Kaif plays the character of Khushi, Anushka Sharma plays the character of Muskaan & Anupam Kher has a small appearance who plays the character of Katrina Kaif's Father. The other starcast consists of Archana Puran Singh, Rishi Kapoor & Nitu Singh.

This is no longer a news, Rohit Shetty's Chennai Express to go on floors on September 28. It is a romantic masala film with a lot of action. The story is about a guy played by SRK who is travelling from Mumbai to Rameshwaram in Chennai Express. The story is about the journey in the train. Few of the scenes will be shot in south. So its three cheers for SRK fans down south. 

Raaz 3 total collections over the entire weekend including Monday

Raaz 3 has already done good business on thursday in the paid previews. It had 80-85% occupancies all over. The best circuits were CP Berar, CI & Rajasthan. Raaz 3 is the biggest release for Emraan Hashmi with over 2000 screens. His last release Jannat 2 had just less than 2000 screens. Expectations were high from Raaz 3.

Raaz 3 opened very well at single screens all across India. It is super strong in West Bengal, Bihar, CP Berar, CI, Rajasthan & Nizam. The occupancy level is from 70% to 100%. It has got the fourth biggest opening in single screen this year after Ek Tha Tiger, Agneepath & Rowdy Rathore.

The opening at multiplexes is a little bit lower than single screens but still very good. The occupancy level is from 50% to 70%.The music of the film was below par but the promotion was healthy. The first day numbers will be very good & will comfortably beat the previous best of Emraan Hashmi that is Jannat 2 which had 8.25 Cr first day. But to ensure long run at the Box-office the collection at the metro multiplexes should pick up.

Raaz 3 collected a handsome 10.25 - 10.5 Cr nett on its first day. The single screen business was very strong & the multiplex business was also good. The first day collection of Raaz 3 is nearly 25% higher than Jannat 2 which was the previous best for an Emraan Hashmi starer. Raaz 3 has now entered the Elite Club which are for those films which have collected minimum 10 Cr on its first day. It is the 16th film to do so. All the previous films have huge starcast or huge face value but entering into this club for a film like Raaz 3 is a big achievement.

Raaz 3 recorded a very good collection on friday. But saturday came out to be better than friday. And sunday seems to be much better than both friday & saturday. The jump in saturday collections is not that big but the centers which showed low collection on friday picked up big on saturday.
