Upcoming releases & some gossips about Salman Khan

Salman Khan is having a Dream run at the Box-office with Blockbuster movies like Dabangg, Ready, Bodyguard & recently Ek tha tiger. Now he is eyeing for 2013 releases. There are 3 of his movies coming in 2013. Off course the major holidays will be booked for that. Lets look at the movies:-


Sher Khan:- This movie directed by Sohail Khan will be coming on Eid 2013. Shooting of the movie will start after the release of Dabangg 2. This is the most awaited movie of Salman Khan in 2013.

No Entry Sequel:- We all know about the Blockbuster movie No Entry directed by Aneez Bazmee. Now the sequel to this movie will hit theaters in the year 2013. It will be a laugh riot just like No Entry. There are rumours in the industry that Salman Khan will be seen romancing with 10 ladies in this movie but it is yet to be confirmed.

Kick:- Direction by Sajid Nadiadwala who is also the producer, this movie will be coming on Christmas 2013. Initially Shirish Kunder, husband of Farah Khan had plans to direct the movie. But after the debacle of Joker Shirish was opted out of the project. This movie is a remake of the telegu blockbuster Kick which has Ravi Teja in the main lead. It was later remade in Tamil as Thillalangadi.

Now lets hear some Gossips about our Tiger Khan:-

1. Salman Khan played a Raw agent in his recent film Ek Tha Tiger & the film went on to become a huge Blockbuster, but now he is trully contributing something for the security forces of the country. He has shot for a film for the BSF where he will be seen guarding the India-Tibet border. This film will mark the golden jubilee celebration of the BSF set up in the year 1962 to resist the attacks from China. In the film Salman will be appealing to run for the BSF in the Marathon which will be held in Delhi on 7th Oct 2012. He will also motivate the youngsters to join Border Security Force.

2. There are rumours all around that bollywood superstar Salman Khan is all set to buy Deccan Chargers which is a renowned IPL team. The deal will be finalised for 750 crores.The videocon team is also in the race to bid for the team.

We all know that Shah Rukh Khan is the proud owner of the IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders which has won IPL this year. In the year 2008 SRK & his partners Juhi Chawla & Jay Mehta brought the team Kolkata Knight Riders for a whopping 360 crores. Now we can get a chance to see the rivalry of these two superstars in the cricket field also. Best of luck to both of them.

Karan prepares for "Student of the Year" & "Unglee"

Emraan Hashmi was the first & now Sanjay Dutt have been confirmed for Karan Johar's next production movie Unglee. First there were speculations about the presence of Sanjay Dutt but now Karan has confirmed the news. Rensil D'silva will direct the movie. 

Emraan Hashmi has already given a bulky & podgy look in Shanghai. Now for his upcoming movie Ghanchakkar his director wants a six pack abs look of him. Again after Ghanchakkar he will be starting to shoot for Ungli. And in Ungli Karan Johar wants a bulky look of Emraan Hashmi. So Emraan has to change his figure for a number of times to suit his look in his upcoming movies.

There were rumours in the film industry that earlier Kareena Kapoor was signed for Ungli opposite Emraan Hashmi & then she opted out from the project for some unknowingly reasons & for that Emraan was not happy at all, but nothing was cifirmed by the officials.

The other starcast consists of Randeep Hooda, Kangana Ranaut and Neha Dhupia. Unglee will be a youth entertainer with a social massage - confirmed Karan. Rensil D'silva's previous movie Kurbaan was a Box-office Flop. Lets see what this movie does at the Box-office.

Karan Johar was born in the year 1972 on 25th of May. He is a director, producer, screenwriter & costume designer. He also host a popular television show namely Coffee with Karan. His parents are Yash Johar & Hiroo Johar. He was born in Mumbai. His father Yash Johar is the founder of the production house Dharma Production. Karan has done Masters in French.

Karan entered Bollywood with the film Diilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge. He acted in the movie playing the role of SRK's close friend, he also played assistant director in the movie. He designed the costume of Shah Rukh Khan in many films like Dil To Pagal Hai, Duplicate, Mohabbatein, Main Hoon Na, Veer Zaara, Om Shanti Om etc.


Karan first directorial debut was Kuch Kuch Hota Hai in 1998 with actors like SRK, Salman Khan, Kajol, Rani Mukherjee Johny Lever etc. He was then just 25 years old. He won national award for this movie as Best Director. His second movie was Kabhi Khushu Kabhi Gam, his third was Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna. He won Best Director award at the IIFA for his film My Name Is Khan. Nearly all his films were magical success at the Boxoffice & all of them received good response from the Critics. Hope his movie Unglee also becomes a huge success at the Boxoffice.  

Sonu Sood will be seen playing the role of Pran in Zanjeer remake

Sonu Sood who is famous for his role in Dabangg & has got many awards for that will now be seen in another pivotal role. He will be seen playing the role of Pran Sahab in Zanjeer remake. Name of Pran in original Zanjeer movie was Sher Khan. This role was originally offered to Arjun Rampal but he opted out due to some date issues. We are yet to get any official announcement but Sonu has confirmed the news.

Zanjeer released in the year 1973. It was directed by Prakash Mehra. The film featured Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Pran, Ajit, Ram Sethi, Om Prakash & Bindu. The movie was basically an action movie & after this movie Amitabh bachchan was called Angry Young Man of bollywood. The film collected 6 crore at the box office & became super hit.

The story of the film was written by Salim Javed & was produced under the banner of Prakash Mehra productions. The editing was done by Ramchandra Mahadik. Art director was J J Bhende. Cinematographer was N Satyen. Ravi Khanna & Virendra Kumar were the stunts director. The costume & Wardrobe was designed by Vasant Mahajan & Sankar Jadav. Satyanarayan was the choreographer. Kalyanji Anandji were the music director. The songs were written by Gulshan Bawra. The playback singers were Asha Bhosle, Manna Dey, Lata Mangeshkar & Mohammad Rafi.

Among these three of them won national award for this movie. Salim Javed won the Filmfare Best Story award & the Filmfare best screenplay award. Gulshan Bawra won the Filmfare Best Lyricist Award for the song “Yari Hai Imaan Mera Yaar Meri Zindagi”. And Filmfare Best Editing Award was given to R Mahadik.

In the year 1980 the film was remade in Malayalam in the name of Naayattu which featured Jayan & Prem Nazir in the lead roles. The movie was directed by Sreekumaran Thampi.The movie became Super Hit at the box office.

Now in the year 2013 the film is again being remade which will also have the same name Zanjeer. The movie will feature Ram Charan Teja who will play the role of Amitabh Bachchan, Priyanka Chpra will play the role of Jaya Bachchan, Sonu Sood will play the role of Pran, Prakash Raj will play the role of Ajit, Mahi Gill will play the role of Bindu & Ankur Bhatia will play the role of Om Prakash.
