Salman Khan has shot a especial film for Border Security Force

Salman Khan played a Raw agent in his recent film Ek Tha Tiger & the film went on to become a huge Blockbuster, but now he is truly contributing something for the security forces of the country. He has shot for a film for the BSF where he will be seen guarding the India-Tibet border. This film will mark the golden jubilee celebration of the BSF set up in the year 1962 to resist the attacks from Pakistan. In the film Salman will be seen appealing to common people to run for the BSF in the Marathon which will be held in Delhi on 7th Oct 2012. He will also motivate the youngsters to join Border Security Force.

The full form of BSF is Border Security Force. They were established on 1^st December 1965. They are central armed police forces. Their main role is to guard the international border of India. The BSF like all other forces falls under the Ministry of Home Affairs. They are one of the law enforcement agency.

There are 2.40 lakh personnel including women in 186 battalions. They are one of the largest border forces of the world. The first director general of the BSF is K F Rustomji. He is also known as the father & founder of BSF. U K Bansal is the current director general. He took charge in November 2011.

Before BSF was formed the international border of India was protected by the local police. The India Pakistan war that took place in 1965 forced the foundation of BSF. The head quarter of the BSF is in New Delhi & is known as Force Head Quarter or FHQ.

Salman Khan was born in the year 1965 on 27th of December. He was born at Indore Madhya Pradesh. Now he reside at Bandra Mumbai Pavel. He is the son of Salim Khan & Salma Khan. His grandfather was a Muslim from Ahghanistan. Arbaaz Khan & Sohail Khan are his brothers. He also has 2 sisters Alvira & Arpita. Alvira is married to Atul Agnihotri who is an actor cum director. Helen is his step mother.

He has appeared in more than 90 hindi movies. He first started his acting in the year 1988 with the film Biwi Ho To Aisi where he played a minor role. Then came his Blockbuster movie Maine Pyar Kiya. He won the award for male best debut with this movie. Then in 1990 he made a film Baaghi which was also super hit. Then came his series of hit films like Pathar Ke Phool, Sanam Bewafa, Kurbaan & Saajan. Then in 1992 & 1993 nearly all his films were Flop. In 1994 he again returned with a huge Blockbuster Hum Aapke Hain Kaun with Madhuri Dixit. In 1995 he did Karan Arjun with SRK which was again a Blockbuster. Then he did a lot films few of them were hits & some were Flops.

In the year 2007 his statue was made at Madame Tussauds Wax Museum. It was inaugurated on on 15th of January in the year 2008. Recently he gave a huge Blockbuster hit Ek Tha Tiger with Katrina Kaif which has broken all records at the Boxoffice. Now he is doing this short film for the BSF Jawans.
